income is not a factor when applying for a council house, but priority is given to people in certain circumstances.

Now back home at to his tax-payer funded London council house

He's keeping some poor family on the streets with a greater need for his council house

    Typical Daily Mail hit job.
I will be on a picket line for 4 days over the next 2 weeks Because a Tory mayor broke a promise to us.
I'm proud of Bob and even prouder of the RMT the only real fighting union left.

30 per cent of RMT and TSSA members balloted voting for strike action, and around 70 per cent either not voting or voting no.

I wonder if there is a reciprocal arrangement between the RMT & TSSA with them each going out on strike when the other has a dispute.

near enough the same % of votes the Tories got at the last election, 64% didn't vote for them

Definitely not Ded. They're lightweights as far as industrial action is concerned.

Who cares TFL look for any excuse to stop these strikes going ahead
Crying to a local judge never worked this time

Of course Dedworth if you worked in a London Underground ticket office then you would be taking a very different line

Boris Johnson is a lier and has back tracked on statements he made about London Underground ticket office's and the Fire Service

The strike is legal and going ahead = get over it

Great to see Bob back yesterday in time for the start of the strike. He's has not at any stage been a part of our negotiating team at ACAS so absolutely no problem with him taking his well earned holiday.
It may come as a surprise to some but for as long as I can remember the members of the RMT have never given a flying for what the fascist Daily Mail or it's readers think of Bob or our union.

What a comes back from a £10,000 holiday a day before the strike is due to start and says he wont call the strike off before entering talks. Talks about oh yes, modernisation bringing the oldest tube network in the world kicking and screaming into the 21st century.
Get back to your tax payer funded council house you lobster

I'm not really bothered about Bob Crow's holiday arrangements. I'm more worried abut what damage he is doing to our country.

He is the leader of a militant union, willing to selfishly hold the country to ransom. Hopefully the strike will not cause the chaos that the unions are hoping for.

I think the country needs to be bought to a standstill to teach this dictatorship of a government a lesson. There has been nothing said in this thread of how the tories are protecting the fat cat bankers.

What has this got to do with protecting fat cat bankers? That's not right either!

Your view that "this country needs to be brought to a standstill" is vindictive and militant. If you don't like the government, then do something about it at the next General Election.

The Government have been talking about new laws to curb union powers in key sectors. The sooner the better!

Would these "Fat Cat Bankers" be, by any chance, the same bunch of city slickers that the Blair/Brown Politburo cosied up to 1997 - 2010 ?

It always makes me laugh when so called fellow workers moan about other workers going on strike

The Tories are quite happy handing out tax credits for workers who get paid peanuts
Subsidising the fat cats who will not pay their workers a decent living wage

The right wing gutter press would have us believe that anyone who even thinks about going on strike must be worse than the devil = yawn

You're very astute LM :-) (I'm not being sarcastic, either) It's the 'fat cats' who run the country, dictating political agenda. Nothing new here ...it happens the world over
