I enjoyed reading your post and it's good to know you want to learn. Was born and raised Tagalog but have to learn Bisaya because my Dad is Cebuano.
The "Pila man pasahe" can also be said as "Pila man plete"
You can also notice a lot of 'shortcut' words:
To add: Karon (now) in Cebuano is different from Karon (later) in Hiligaynon.
Brings back memories having a conversation with my former classmate whos Ilonggo (Hiligaynon speaker)
Me: Kanus-a man ta mu adtos mall? (Asking her when are we going to the mall)
Classmate: Karon lang
Me: Dali na! ( Let's go now then)
Classmate: Karon lang gani (she means later)
Me: Karon na gani
