Mice
Lately I've discovered a couple of mice infiltrating my home and have been looking online for ways of exterminating them, other than the usual trap method.
I have a dog to consider so I have to be careful on what I do. Apparently coke/pepsi works because mice can't burp and therefore die from bloatedness. Baking powder and cement are other idea's that have been bandied about. Toothpaste too. They hate the smell of mint but this won't kill them. It'll just keep them away.
I might try the coke/pepsi method for awhile then "toothpaste" the kitchen when me and the dog are done with eating mouse adobo .

I have used an electronic trap in the past. It's enclosed, apart from where the mouse enters. So safe for your dog.
Put a piece of chocolate on the sensor.... Mouse went in, touched it and buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, goodnight.

The mice are coming in because of the cold weather, the last time I trapped mice was last year in Canada, got a few snappers from Walmart and solved the problem.Coke etc doesn't work trust me on this,i sat the BPCA level 2 exam and passed it I used to know a little bit about mice and rats,i have the BPCA books in storage somewhere,i will get them out later and have a flick through, its been a long time.
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Haha... nice one Steve.
I also used to trap them, as a youngster, when I was a keen amateur naturalist, using my own home-made 'live' traps. Mainly little Field Mice at this time of the year.
I can also claim to be something of an expert on mice and rats... the 'Fancy' type, as I used to breed and show them when I was a schoolboy. A member of the 'National Mouse Club', in fact.
My specialist breeds were 'Argente Dutch' and 'Agouti Dutch' . I also bred 'Fancy' rats. Great pets, rats. They do actually get to 'know' you.

I ended up buying one of these. Caught ONE mouse in three months. Just ordered the plug-in repellers that send out ultrasonic signals and are meant to send pests crazy so they stay away.
It'll kill two birds with one stone. No more mice and no more ex girlfriend bothering me.
Ł8.99 for three.

Ultrasonic plug-in repellers.............................Don't work. Seen people try them on foxes, moles, deer. Waste of cash.

Been looking at these, reviews say they don't work... However not for mice.... For the local cat that keeps shitting in my front garden 2-3 times a week
I know exactly which cat it is, we had new neighbours few doors down just before Christmas, just after the cat poo started. Funnily enough, they have a cat.
I thought about saying something to them. But what can they do? .... If I catch it I know what I will do, because I never use my front gate, I always hop over the wall. Only once into freshly laid poo! Next time the cat gets it

Traps are better than any poison; with poison they die somewhere in the house, you can't find them and the decayed body stinks.
There's also a sticky paper pad they walk on and get their feet stuck on the glue.

These repellers aren't working.
I'm pissed off and so is the dog. He's started chasing them now.
No more mr nice guy anymore. I'll try the glue and get my mallet out.
Bloody tenants!
