When you die in the Philippines the UK government pay your wife £2500 lump sum plus £100 per month for 18 months. This is information from a phone call last night.

My mate Wally died in the PI around 15 years back. His wife had him heavily insured. Haven't seen her since his memorial as she collected the cash and went straight back to the PI.
