Flights - Ground Control To Major TIM!
's RIGHT! You read it correctly, I DON'T mean "Ground Control to Major Tom" - the anti-hero of David Bowie's classic masterpiece - released into the charts to presumably coincide with mankind's first Lunar Landing ... 3 years before our subject's birth.
Tim Peake, born in Chichester, West Sussex in 1972 is a former Major with the RASC. Peake, a fitness enthusiast, graduated from Sandhurst and is an experienced aircraft pilot who has swapped his army role to become the first (and only British) astronaut to take part in manned research missions to the International Space Station which apparently orbits about 250 miles above the Earth.

Due to blast off on the morning of December 15th - returning approximately six months' later - I guess, by then, he really will've reached his peak!Last edited by Arthur Little; 10th June 2016 at 22:37.
