What happened to my thread?
I just got back from a 2 day business trip. I am checking to see if there are any updates on the first thread I started a few days ago, asking advice about what to do with my filipina girlfriend. It was entitled "What should I do?"
But the thread has disappeared. Am I missing something? Can someone fill me in on what happened to it?

about what happened to your threads, mate ... truly I am! Keith said, "Ask Arthur" [he wasn't meaning Arthur Ask(ey)' ] ... and rightly so, because I'M the person to blame - no-one else! Allow me to explain:
You'll recall having raised two threads, viz- (i) 'Need Some Advice' & (ii) 'What Should I Do?'. In EACH case the content of your introductory posts replicated the other ... the sole difference being that the latter attracted 36 responses - including several of mine - whereas the former received only one reply from a guy called *Ayumbar who, like many on the other thread, empathised with your dilema.
Ayumbar's post came to my attention late last night ... and, as a Moderator, I took the decision to merge the two threads. Unfortunately, in the process, I [somehow] pressed the wrong button as Keith explained. My only plea in mitigation, is that I'm a relative novice in this appointment (mid-July) and consequently still finding my way around in strange [to me] territory.
Once again, please accept my sincerest apologies.

I will vouch for the fact that Arthur's apology is sincere

No worries Arthur. I understand.
I accidentally created the two threads because, being a newbie, I thought my first attempt was unsuccessful when I didnt see it show up immediately, so I created and submitted a second identical one.
In fact the first one had just been submitted for review by the mods, before being approved and published. Then when I realised what happened I couldnt delete it afterwards lol. Thats what created the confusion. So I am at least partly to blame.
Think no more of it good sir
