Student Visa Holder
Hi All,
I wonder if anybody has information if a student visa holder (a nurse and working in a care home) can petition her husband in the Philippines as her dependent to join her here in the U.K. before her contract expires.
Any information would be very much appreciated.A relationship founded in GOD will last forever and will always compromise trust and happiness, as all good thoughts are derived from wisdom and faith, and trust .

Are you studying here or working? I would imagine you cannot get your husband here when you are here on a student visa

it could be possible, when did you get your visa?
how long was it for (2yrs) ?
how long have you left on your visa ?
if its going to expire soon then that could be a problem..
and why have you mentioned contract expires and not visa expires

If you are working more than 20hrs a week and attempt to get your husband over to the UK you will almost certainly get deported when immigration looks into your request.

Rules on student visa will be changed soon, I think. But I hope not.
I know friends who got their husbands/wives as their dependent while studying below degree courses, but I'm not sure this year because rules on student visa system is going to be changed. how are the tories going to do that?, there's nothing left for them to sell to their rich bankers and upper class mates, they sold all the family sliver under thatcher the milk snatcher, nowt left thats british to sell , they cant sell the social housing off, most of it is under control of housing associations now
not even gold reserves brown sold them

I had to sell my shares because of this current lot of dick turpins...
There was no need at all to do that, especially with the price of gold so low at the time....
So as far as I am concerned I wouldn't on gordon brown if he was on fire, but would pour more petrol on him...

dick turpins , the BRITISH companies she sold off belong to everyone in the country, not just the ones who had the money to buy the shares, which were offered at a low price.she had no right to do what she did, she stole from me and everyone else
if blair had balls, he should have re-nationalised them and paid a penny for each share.
if thatcher was on fire, i'd keep her burning with a bit of BIRITSH coal and add a bit more petrol
