Myrna ... like your Lolita, taught back home in the Phils, Stewart. So it may surprise you - and many others - to learn that, even though she'd travelled fairly widely with the Dep Ed, attending teachers conferences, she hadn't ever been to Bohol until we went there last time we visited her homeland during late January/February past. So you're far from alone in this being your first time there.
Enjoy!

Bohol was once a place that I dreamed of building our home, it is a beautiful place in my eyes.

ferry was almost cancelled but lucky it turned into a delay, and was allocated a different ferry, at 1 am the sea was rough but safe, the weather turned out to be quite good while we were there , stayed in Talibun, went to chocolate hills the day after arrival , interesting but i dont think its anything that great, but thats my opinion , didnt get time to see much else.day after that we caught a ferry to Cebu to visit more reletives and my son inlaw stayed overnight and went sea swimming the following day then back to Bohol late afternoon, apart from mosquito bites and being very tired from lots of rough traveling, and drinking with family in the evenings lol, i did enjoy the visit and the family and friends were realy good to us, when i get more time il upload a few pics,

Christmas day I walked the couple of miles up to the wife's family 'hamlet', and then we went for a swim in the river next to it. Beautiful sunny day.
