did the report of marriage and passport amendment in an hour last week. £18 for the amendment and £15 for the ROM.
you only need to fill up 1 form for the passport amendment.
for the ROM, you need to fill up 3. each form needs a photo of you and your spouse. one copy goes to DFA in the phils, one for the embassy in london and one will be returned to you duly stamped and signed.
as i did not want to go back another day, i asked them politely if they could do me same day service. i thought they would ask me to come back 5pm. much to my surprise i was asked to wait for an hour.
i was there for 12:58 (just before lunch break 13:00-14:00) out the door by 14:02.

Hello everyone can you answer a question for me in reference to FLR?
I am about to leave my forms in sometime this month as it needs done but my question is do i have to do it in person or can my husband leave my forms in for me? It would save us some money if he could go alone..
They need to be left in person as we are planning to go to the Philippines in early April and i need to be sure i will get my passport back..
Thanks in advance...

Applicants who will apply in person should go personally in any Public Enquiry Offices near in your area,as you will have to do interview,(and would be great if hubby is there to accompany you). I know it gonna cost you alot but guaranteed you will have your passport back with the visa after 1-2hrs)
