Dangerous to learn to fly in the Philippines?
There were 4 crash with small planes from flight training school in the last 2 weeks. 2 Cessna 150 and 2 Cessna 172.... Fortunately, no injuries!
Here is the last one just near the Mall of Asia in Manila:

On a positive note the flight training school here in Dumaguete has an excellent safety record. They have Cessna 150s, and Piper Cherokees. There is an American in charge of the ground school for whatever difference that may make. It really pays to do your research before embarking on any potentially dangerous activity in the Philippines, whether it be flying, scuba diving, or mountain climbing.

The only reason I say that is from the limited perspective of the pic, it is hard to imagine the flight path given the angle of the plane, also the plane must have been there for a long time as the branches of the tree are all in tact and grown around the structure. As a pilot and photoshop user it was a guess.
I love the second pic, We used to launch model sailplanes that way, piggy back
