Active visitor visa to switch to fiance visa
Hi all , hope you guys are well 😊. I'm asking for a friend hope we can help her .
I've met a new Filipina who is working in Thailand yesterday here in Scotland for a visit and she got engaged last wk with her Scottish bf. She was wondering if she needs to wait for her visitor visa to get expired before applying for fiance visa(family visa)? Also, is application needs to be done in Philippines of she can do it in Thailand?
Thanks everyone for your help .

Hi,
She doesn't need to wait for her current visit visa to expire. She can apply for a Fiancee Visa as soon as she wants, although she has to apply either from Philippines or Thailand if it's her current place of residence.-=rayna.keith=-
