grahamw48!! I so curious to know about How it was like to learn back in 1950s? I think you have so much interested to share with us, right??? Since then world is so changed and become so advance and you have witnessed all the changes and seems like you had a learning journey though as you are a very interesting person. Hey tell me buddy, something about your learning journey. Did you use a typewriter or a pen?

I attended the British Royal Naval School in Singapore. (Dad was in the Navy).
I believe we used pencils at that age (5-7 years).
Reading books were from the 'Janet and John' series. I remember them well.
We learned a lot of stuff (The alphabet, and Arithmetic, for instance), by 'rote'...often in a singsong style.
It worked !

You know guys being connected with you is so good and I am so excited to fly for my new year eve tour. What about you guys, what are your plans for new year eve. Are you gonna stay at home with family or planning out somewhere?
