Very different culture in Philippines. My wife is here in UK. but spends a lot of time each day on video calling her Sister who lives in Europe, then because of time difference often speaking to her mum and other relatives in Philippines early morning uk time.

Doesn’t bother me one bit, well unless I am watch tv!!

You and your wife are a team, and you should present a united front to your sister-in-law. You don’t have to ask or explain your reasons to her, as long as you and your wife are happy and comfortable with them.
