Spoke to someone the other day who had both jabs then caught Covid later on - and now has been told she can never fly again due to the threat of blood clots. She's around my age.
I'm just glad I didn't rush into this. Imagine trying to get to the Phils on a boat?

The jabs as most people know, do not stop you spreading covid or prevent you catching it, the jabs will in many cases prevent you needing to go in hospital or make the covid symptoms less severe
as for not being able to fly, I've never heard that before,
There is no evidence that air travel can increase the risk of blood clots in people who have received COVID-19 vaccines.

Scary times indeed, at least the person you spoke to is alive, I know someone who has died from covid and someone who spent 6 months in hospital.

It seems Duterte is offering 750k to those who have Covid because he wants Philhealth to pay for what they took charging covid sufferers P700k for treatment and p4000 for swabs, so now some filipinos are getting swab tested hoping they are positive in order to get the money

Bad news.
Julie's sister was due to have a caesarian, pre-operative tests revealed that she had covid and she is now isolated in hospital.
Because of this, their parents have been in home isolation for the past couple of days, Julie has been leaving food outside their house.
Her Father is a front-liner and had refused the vaccine due to all the false rumours about it being unsafe. He has just come down with a bad fever-like flu, so bad that her mother phoned Julie in the early hours of the morning, and Julie messaged me.
Sometimes I think that I am only getting half the story, there is a lot that could go wrong with this.

scaremongering, I'll tell the guy I work with, whose partner died of Covid in January that it's all scaremongering
128,000 dead in the UK, nearly 4,000,000 around the world, I suppose for some people it's only scaremongering until it affects you, your family
or someone you know
misses works in A&E, she told me that she just tested and confirmed a 16 month old toddler and 6yr old have covid and it's young ones filling up A&E with covid cases now.

So you are more likely to DIE if you are ‘vaccinated’ if you contract the ‘delta variant’
Less so if you are UNVACCINATED?

Social distancing and face masks should stay FOREVER says Communist SAGE committee member Professor Susan Michie
The truth.
Social distancing and wearing face masks should stay forever, a Communist-supporting SAGE scientist has claimed.
Professor Susan Michie, of University College London, said she thinks the draconian restrictions should become part of people’s every day routine.
In a bizarre comparison, she said Britons never used to wear seat belts in cars or ‘pick up dog poo in the park’ but learned to over time.
It comes as the country waits with bated breath to see if Boris Johnson will stick to his roadmap and launch ‘Freedom Day’ on June 21.
The PM could implement a ‘mix and match’ unlocking, with face masks, work from home guidance and the rule of six indoors likely to still be mandatory.
Social distancing and face masks should stay FOREVER says Communist SAGE committee member Professor Susan Michie – Rights and Freedoms (wordpress.com)
