Virtual House Of Lords Could be Here To Stay
Question IS ... ... WILL the Commons be likely to follow?
https://www.theguardian.com/politics...partly-virtual ...
Given 70's the average age in the Upper House, I'm rather surprised to learn how readily members adapted to the technology involved. And with Jacob Rees-Mogg's hope that MPs don't resort to this practice.
Mind you, having been a spectator from the public galleries of BOTH parliamentary chambers, I'd say the s may as well not have been in attendance at their respective sessions, since most kept dozing-off anyway!
