PIEce In Our (Lunch) Time
https://www.lostglasgow.scot/posts/p...unch-time-736/ ...
depicts an elderly craftsman - a fiddle/violin maker from 1930s Glasgow - during his lunchbreak; or, (in local parlance), "hivvin' aiz *piece!"
*NOT to be with a similarly~pronounced word to the famous, albeit misguided utterance later the same decade by Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain on return from his futile attempt to appease Herr Adolf Hitler
in the (vain) hope of averting war war with Nazi Germany: "PEAce in Our Time!"
