Changes to Philippines Visa

Thanks Fred, wife British passport only, what is 9a and what is that for and how do I obtain it? Regarding time, Flying with Singapore at the moment I've checked it out and for my dates is still operating, the only difference is price change but that won't affect us, hopefully if I don't hear from the airline I just go to the airport. Have called them hoping to speak to someone but the recorded messages instructing you what to do to speak to whoever are not audible to me due to their British accent. Any help would be appreciated.
