Break in last night, cash and jewlery stolen, from the house while we slept cash and cigarettes stolen from the store. Got CCTV pics but they were hooded and masked.

That will be the problem as people starts to get hungry and lose jobs and money. Always make sure you keep everything of value very secure.

Sorry to hear that. At least you weren't attacked.

We all need to be vigilant in the coming weeks and months.

Didn't you mention you decided to lock your gates to keep certain people out?
How did they gain entry without making enough noise to awake you?? Did they have advance knowledge of the weakness in your house security I wonder?I might be wrong but it`s worth thinking about.
On the bright side,at least they were responsible thieves decent enough to wear masks during this pandemic thingy.

They cut through a fence at the side of the house.

Our lock down extended to April 19th. All us old gits over 70 have to stay at home, we got our free food delivery yesterday 10kg rice, sardines and noodles issued to 90,000 households in Tagum. Well done Mr Mayor and all the staff that made it happen.

The Barangay food package deliveries are key to this thread.. Without them there will be more and more attempted break ins.

Lock down very strict now 6pm to 6am. Barangay have guards at every crossroad now, pity they did not have that last week, we might not have been robbed.

    Blimey. That IS strict.

    5am - 8pm here.

I haven't seen a road block, because I haven't been more than a couple of hundred yards from our gate for at least 2 weeks now.

GOOD NEWS! Karong two, April 9, 2020, I recorded you 2 recoveries - reason only confirmed cases in COVID-19 in the city from 9 yesterday. The 2 Tagumenyo has been discharged but it will go to 14 days of quarantine in some family. From 11 yesterday, the classified as Persons Under Investigation in the city are only 4 Apan, the Persons Under Monitoring is double - from 21 yesterday to 49 karong two. I will continue to follow the policies of Enhanced Community Quarantine in Tagum so we can find our tinguha: #FlattenTheCurve

I have hesitated before sending my this month's pension payment into the ether... must admit.

    - Though I still have it paid into the bank in England... then I send here for local pickup at MHHuillier, etc.
