    I knew diabetics could be prone to heart disease. But hitherto ... ... wasn't aware of the cancer connnection.

    My dear favourite uncle had type one Diabetes from the age of 23 years.

    Sadly he died from Leukaemia when aged 67 years. I don't know if that fits in with this theory.

    I think the Diabetes must put a big additional strain on the body.
