Rant rant rant
I'm really getting fed up with Manila Water
Since March 7 we have been told that there will be service interruptions due to lack of water supply.
That's OK if there is a plan of action and prior notifications of so called interruptions....but nothing of the kind.
There is no plan there is no published schedules......
We are told there will be interruptions for the next 3 months....OK but when? What time and duration?
Its just unknown.....
When it will end .....if ever is unknown...
We can manage but we need to know an idea of when and where.....so far its every day at various time....difficult for us to plan when those folks at Manila Water have no idea at all
.................Typical

I believe their big boss has now offered his resignation.
Might be a good idea... then perhaps start building a few reservoirs to hold some of that EXCESS water the other half of the year ?
Yes, I know it's rocket science.

Well, in more than 30 years of my life living in the Philippines, it was the first time I had amoebic dysentery. That was when we were in Manila 2 weeks ago.
Keith said we both might have caused this lack of water (he also had it same time with me).-=rayna.keith=-

Yep... same at my Missis's family hamlet.
We have the luxury of piped water... and a flush toilet, but I haven't as yet bothered to install a shower.
There are 120 large tiles waiting to be laid first.

Reports suggest that Manila will have severe shortages around 2025....also insufficient power generation.
We are seriously considering alternative retirement destinations......not easy...
Last Saturday we had dinner at our local Vikings buffet.....Japanese dinner with unli San Mig draft

It's only a short walk to the river Peter. Scoop out a few buckets and job done......
I jest of course, it must be really annoying, we get the same with power outages. For water we have a well and piped from the water disctrict. If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up

Hi Peter,
Good to see you are still here too. I got a contract late 2017 went to Germany, then on to China for 6 months. After that a couple of months at home and then started again with an Austrian company in China in September. Still in China now, but tomorrow I have to exit and I am going back home for a few days as my visa requires I leave every 90 days. Next time I get home for a longer time please come up for a stay and a spot of fishing. If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up
