    Citizenship

Hi everyone been a while since I posted here but once again a bit of advice would be appreciated:

Could I ask what my wife actually needs to send to UKVI in regards to citizenship ie: what supporting documents, we have the Ielts certificate, life in the UK, BRP card her passport plus her referees also do we need to send marriage certificate ect ect like for settlement, kind of confused.

If anybody could give me a list of what is required it would be a help.

    Thanks once again,

    Mark.

    Here's the link.

The list of supporting documents is on page 29 of form AN (pdf form). Your wife can also apply online now.

Although with Rayna that it's permissible to apply online, Mark ... you might actually prefer to avail yourselves of the National Checking Service facility operated by your nearest local authority, where - for a fee of around £70 to £80 approximately - staff will go through your wife's documents with the proverbial "fine toothcomb" while you're waiting, then forward them onto the UKVI, returning BOTH your passports right away.

Also, your wife can apply for British passport the same day she would submit the application for British citizenship.

Best of luck with the application Mark! When I helped my brother's former partner and son to apply, we just completed the application very carefully, read everything twice and were thankfully successful. I hope that your wife is too
