Seems Ms *Brockes has so far managed to resist facebook's subsequent *badgering (pun intended!) to renew her lapsed membership.
Personally, I say ... ... "Each to his/her own". But for the likes of me - who's becoming increasingly hard of hearing - the site's a veritable boon ... much easier than the for communicating by.
