    'Likely Lad' Dies At 79

Sadly, ... Rodney Bewes, who played social~climbing Bob Ferris alongside James Bolam's "Jack the Lad", Terry Collier in the popular mid-60s sitcom series, has passed away a few days shy of what would've been his 80th birthday.

Pleasant memories of a cosy little comedy series from the 70s.

    RIP sir.

Maybe I'm wrong ... ... who knows!?! But somehow, ... I seem to get the impression Bolam turned into a rather bitter & cantankerous in his later years.
