Akin To Stepping Onto A Lunar Landscape!

's what I thought while watching last night's News At Ten ... featuring an excerpt from the BBC's Science Editor, David Shukman.

Greenland's ice sheet covers an area 7 times the size of the UK. Worryingly, however, the effects of the sun's rays have led to the formation of a rapidly increasing number of "darkened patches" appearing on its icy surface since the discovery of the growth of algae first came to light there, over a century ago.

Much to the alarm of *scientists around the globe ... *who, understandably, fear the dire consequences of rising ocean levels spreading to some of Earth's LARGEST populated cities across low~lying countries.

Global warming and cooling seems to be a fact Art...
The fact that it`s the fault of humanity is still very much an institutional conspiracy theory IMO.

We have been warned of this happening and also of the effects of the destruction of the Amazon forest by scientists since the fifties, our science and geography masters at school used to explain the problems that could be caused and how we could address a potential catastrophe, at that time no one gave it a second thought and it seems that now is the time that we are waking up to the seriousness of this issue, are we too late?

The earth goes through many natural stages in its life, death, destruction, ice ages, warming up..... all the scaremongering that goes on to make us pay more for this and that. Can't be bothered with it all.
If you want your dreams to come true ...... first you have to wake up
