What's happening with the weather?

One day it is nice and even warm and the shorts comes out,
then the next it's cool, and after this it's crap, rain wind and cold.
Have we had our summer and are we heading back to winter, I wonder? Hay ho, holidays to look forward too soon, it coud be snowing by then.

Problem is, once it starts it often tends to stay for the duration!

The forecast for today said we would wake up to a nice warm sunny day, it's 6am and so far it's the same as yesterday

A grand day today. Yes windy, but if you were out of that it was quite warm with the sun out today. Once this wind dies down, it
will be nice.
