Buy a diesel car, we were all told
It does not seem that long ago that we were being told that a diesel car is the best car to get, the engine will last longer and you will get loads more miles too.
So why has it gone all wrong? I was thinking once to get a diesel car if anything happened to the one I have already.
I wonder what the government is going to do to stop these horrible dirty cars of the road, I am sure the tax will be going up very high for these soon.

How old is the car you own Simon?
On yesterday's radio there was a chap who owns a Range Rover from new, it's a good few years old and he has maintained it since year one. It's worth around £5000. but in the new scrap the old car he will get £2000.
I would not get rid on the vehicle if that was mine, but will they just tax the car more?
