John Hurt has passed away aged 77, great actor and has starred in a multitude of great films, RIP.

RIP to a great actor, who I believe lived a very full life.... so maybe did well making it to 77. Pancreatic Cancer took him in the end.
I witnessed what that did to my friend. Awful.
