Brexit: Judgement Of Supreme Court
www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38720320 ...
... and just when Theresa May was, at last, making headway!
Huh! ... if this is to be the case - before the Government can trigger Article 50 - then ... ... WHY the hell bother holding a public referendum in the first place?
Parliament, remember, comprises two Houses, the Commons and the Lords ... and it's already well~known that the latter consists of [MAINLY] old duffers, who are long past their "sell~by" dates ... spending most of their remaining years on Earth snoozing in the plush leather~upholstered seats of the so~called 'Upper Chamber'.

The PEOPLE have already voted.
We don't need more valuable resources (that's MONEY, to you and me) wasted on courts or politicians' lunches.
Just get on with it !

Through the eyes of an ex-pat like me all this brouhaha does at least seem to lift the strength of the pound.

I'm lovin seeing the Brexsh*teers getting worked up into a frenzy over this issue. I always thought it was about giving power back to our Parliament! ;-)

I see the only people getting worked up are the ones that did not want to leave Europe,
I voted out for my own reasons and I am still glad I did, but like anything we had a choice to cast a vote for what ever we thought was right, now that's where the other folk who wanted me to vote there way are a little peed off,hay ho life goes on still,

I'm with you on this Steve.
My main concern right now is the value of the pound.
It has a direct bearing on the costs of my Phils house-build.

Two days of debate now starts , I bet there will be lots of bellowing and rumbling over these few days and I bet they can't agree with each other at all, it amazes me when you hear some one says I don't like this, do you think he means himself or the people he supposed to be looking after, .

Yes, our 'representatives' soon seem to forget the views of the thousands who put them there.
