Ok, reps distributed to those that I can !
I guess I'm just one of those annoying old pests who won't go away.
Sorry I don't start many threads... just that my mind is a blank most of the time.

Guess i am in the no 2 category and rarely start new threads. I am always reading the threads but don't always comment. As for reps, i only seem to remember they exist when someone mentions them. I will try to remember in future.

Dont worry about giving out reps boys, just a simply acknowledgment is all that is wanted sometimes.

Last edited by Arthur Little; 1 Day Ago at 17:57. Reason: Added the word 'distinct' to categories - 2nd paragraph
Arthur, whilst I appreciate you're trying to help I do not appreciate my threads being altered without my express permission.
The thread was altered after 6 days, and if I wanted the word 'distinct' in my paragraph I would have written it. As it happens, I was contemplating using the word distinct or specific but I deliberately didn't.

Simon ... I'd been wondering when/if you'd get around to spotting that. And, being a pedantic sort of chap - like myself - then ... ... of course you would've eventually, I suppose. It was only a question of *time! See #9 (in which, I've complimented you in my thread on that very *subject:

I really don't want to get into an arguement about this, Arthur. If I have broken any rules by swearing or copy and pasting from other sources then by all means any moderator can do their job and edit my post.
Until that point, if I feel that a post I've written can somehow be enhanced by adding a word or the like then I'm more than capable of using the 'edit post' option myself, I do not need any help

That said, I apologise for altering your thread ... or rather, adding the word 'distinct' to it. There was actually a twofold reason for my doing so, however.
Firstly, with your also being an observant bloke - AGAIN, like me - you're bound to've noticed the number of occasions on which I've edited words in my own threads/posts.
's because I'm keen to see my sentences/paragraphs in as neat an "alignment" as possible (in the style of newspaper print) ... a struggle, for someone like me, who's NOT sufficiently endowed with the "technical knowledge" to achieve this effect.
And secondly, due to this "perfectionist quirk" of mine, I'd inserted the extra word to fill what, to me, seemed an inordinately leng~thy empty space between the "4 & categories" in the relevant post.
Anyway, I ought to've realised this change was likely to show up ... as virtually every item edited - after it's been on here for more than a few hours - does nowadays.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
