Nothing to do with being an old git Graham, there are way too many cookery programs on many channels not just the BBC, I think you'll agree our generation were taught how to cook as youngsters we don't need cookery lessons, also, what's happened to the good old Sunday afternoon film's that we used to watch after lunch?

    True Michael.

What about Saturday afternoon sports (other than football)... like wrestling, motorbike scrambling, etc ? All nicked by the pay channels presumably.

Some of the funniest TV entertainment ever...

    .

I do get to see a bit of motorsport on ITV4 though... if I get up at the crack of dawn.

Our new Cignal satellite TV system features quite a few channels dedicated to foods and cooking. I enjoy most when I'm in the mood.

Would you believe we have programmes with Gordon "F" Ramsey, His daughter Matilda, Jamie Oliver and Andrew Zimmern's adventures in search of ever-increasing bizarre dishes. (Which I actually do enjoy)

I was never really into the Great Bake Off stuff though, but did enjoy James Martin's Saturday Kitchen

Well granted, if the only option was Vice Ganda , I'd probably be an avid viewer of ANY cooking prog.
