Hmm ... ... I should've thought that would have been [nearly] as obvious as the risks of in bed!

Most smartphones now stops charging when it reaches the full status, so the risk of fire is very small. It's usually caused by cheap and fake chargers (or batteries) that are often sold in Ebay and such.

s! Like Michael's, mine is a 'Nokia' my daughter gave me many years' ago. Don't know the model number now ... ... as I've long since lost the instruction leaflet. But even though I seldom use it, the battery seems to remain fully charged for whenever I do.

I've had my Dual Sim Nokia C1 phone since 2008 it lasts approx three weeks before it needs charging, never had a problem with it. I did buy the new version Dual Sim Nokia 108 brand new three months ago for £10 and it looks the same but has a touch screen so I've put it away because I don't want to put finger marks on the screen, I suppose one day I will force myself to use it if my C1 ever lets me down but hopefully it will last another ten years or more

It is touch screen I have it in front of me now, I don't know what all those little pictures mean so it's too high tech for me, its like all those appliances on my tv I dare not click on anything in case it cost me money It does a lot more things than my C1 it's G4 whatever that's suppose to mean and you can get on the internet and it has a video camera, I 'll never know how to use all that stuff, give me a theatre sound system and REL sub to set up and its a doddle for me but multitask gadgets a big no no. I always say a phone is a phone a camera is a camera and a computer is a computer

When you touch those little appliance boxes on the screen whatever one you touch it then fills the screen but dare not do any more in case something happens I don't understand and the only way I can get rid of whatever's on the screen is to switch the phone off, also it is Bluetooth because it says it is on the box Mp3 also music player as well but don't know what any of those things are, only know how to dial and receive calls and I recently learnt how to text about 2009

If you are able to use a computer then a phone is no different, everything works in much the same way. I tell my Mum that and she is 72.

Many many years ago i came in from school and i could here my mum shouting from upstairs, she was in a panic so off i ran up the stairs and into mum and dads bedroom.
There was my mum trying to put out a fire that was in the mattress smouldering away, and there was my dad lying on the mattress with a fag in his mouth patting the flames, he fell asleep with this fag still alight,

Well if me running back down the stairs to keep fetching bowls of water to throw on the smouldering mattress and seeing my dads willy is not daring enough , well it scared me for years , especially when i was only about 7 and my willy had not even shown its head out of its cloak, my dads willy was massive

My little Nokia 2610 is just so sweet, I haven't the heart to do away with it.... and yes, it will gallantly hold its charge for 2 or 3 weeks, just sitting on my desk doing nowt of course... unless somebody phones me.
I also have my 'new' (gosh, 2012 now !) Nokia smartphone, which even has a camera, wifi and bluetooth.
When I'm eventually FORCED into buying a newer phone, it will be some sort of dual sim Samsung, similar to the one I got for my Mrs.
