    Why is it that the latest Harry Potter book is £9.99 on kindle but I can have a hard back copy delivered for £9

    I reckon it's because Kindle is the more popular way of reading these days coupled with Harry Potter books being a top seller.

    If it was a Harry Secombe book for example, you'd probably get it cheaper on Kindle for about 50p.

    Anyway Simon, aren't you a bit old to read kids books?

    Never too old to watch cartoons or read kids books

    Hmm ... I still read *books as *such, though ... ... there's not much likelihood of 'Kindle' - in the modern sense of the word - going up in flames!!!

    I've not read my Kindle for a couple of years now, much prefer the actual books....
