Exclusive: Security Chief Behind 'Fake Bomb' Blunder, Claims Evacuation Was An Over Reaction!
Retired Scotland Yard police chief, Christopher Reid ... director of Security Search Management & Solutions Ltd - who worked at the London Olympics in 2012 - has apologised for the mistake, indicating his firm "could've avoided" postponing fixtures amounting to £3million in costs, after planting the inanimate device in a toilet at Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium, himself. Apparently, as part of a canine training exercise, a week ago.
