Cable~Speed Record
Seems a team at University College, London has sent digital data through an optical fibre at the rate of 1.125 terabits per second.
's [apparently] some 50,000 times faster than a typical home broadband network in the UK. And it's quick enough to download ALL the episodes of 'Game of Thrones' in a second.
But don't ask me how! I ain't got a clue. ... I only in my FREE copy of today's METRO.
