Health surcharge
Hi all
just a quick one , can anyone give me any information about the health care surcharge. My wife pam will be submitting her application for her spouse visa soon. Is this another payment needed to be paid separate from the spouse visa payment.
thanks for any information.

If it's a spouse settlement visa then the health surcharge is payable.
It becomes payable at each visa stage whether your spouse is working and paying NI or not.

Just be aware that if you are paying it
On behalf of your wife on the visa4uk website it charges you in dollars so it's slightly more expensive.
That's what I found when paying for Sheina's spouse visa application
