UK net migration hits a record high

So much for Cameron's pledges about getting the figures down

Tory immigration minister James Brokenshire now states its an ambition and not a pledge

Brokenshire tried to use Syria as an excuse well that wont work seeing most of them are Europeans

These Tory clowns put the boot into Labour for years about immigration and now they are in power things have actually become worse!

Some startling figures in there . I'm not sure at what point it becomes this government starts to take the blame rather than passing the buck.

It was labour who allowed them to claim benefits and housing without question thus creating the Land of milk and Honey they now seek

As Cameron has discovered, the open borders agreement means we cannot stop them claiming.

Ignoring the wink yes that was the start of the rot but it escalated with Labours uncontrolled immigration, their allowing millions of EE's in and their welcoming untold excrement due to human rights and asylum policy. Once here the germs know they are home and dry with little chance of removal this is the same under both Labour & the Conservatives.

That said it needs sorting out and quickly, the Cons have had 5 years with little effect.

More than 152,000 Romanians registered for National Insurance (NI) numbers in 2014/15 - a key indicator of immigration levels - compared with just 47,000 in 2013.
The total for all nationalities was up by more than a third year-on-year to 824,000, including 629,000 from the EU, 100,000 from Asia and 79,000 from the rest of the world.
Registrations from Bulgaria – whose citizens won full access to the British job market at the same time as Romanians at the start of last year – also rose starkly.
There were 17,800 arrivals from Bulgaria in 2013/14 compared with 40,600 last year, an increase of nearly 28 per cent and the highest number on record
    .

Almost 200,000 National insurance applications from Romania and Bulgaria when we were fed stories in 2014 that people were overreacting . This government could of stopped this but chose not to.

Those figures are getting scary I also heard mention on BBC News there are now 800,000+ Polish in the UK, that figure is NOT correct, if it were double that they would be somewhere nearer the truth, It doesnt matter who the Government is it HAS to be reduced drastically to somewhere around 100,000 per year, the present figures are scary and cant be maintained, the present figures are immigration equivelant to a City the size of Birmingham every three years..

Angela Merkel seems to be happy to have all the migrants flooding into Germany

Our only chance is to exit EEC and fast

You watch soon the EEC will issue a directive allowing many Syrian migrants into the Uk
Its only a matter of time before these idiots in the EEC start demanding quotas for each country

No. The problem started with the Tories signing the agreement, and bot Labour and the Tories now having to adhere strictly to the EU the Tories signed up for. The government now has discovered that the last government had no control over immigration, that control comes from the EU. The only government responsible for this mess is the Tories in the early nineties, who never read, nor thought through the policy they agreed with.

As with all EU laws, our government (regardless of who) votes YES for things they do not understand.
