Cameron appoints more of his cronies to the House of Lords

Among the cronies elected are Douglas Hogg who claimed expenses for the cleaning of his moat
Each new member elected to the house of lords costs the tax payers approx £120,000 a year
More cronies elected were special advisors to Downing street
The gravy train rolls on for these self serving privileged people
The SNP has quite rightly called the list "a sorry list of rejected politicians, cronies and hangers on with big chequebooks"

We have invaded countries to give them democracy, and yet we do not even have it ourselves. A party gets a majority in the main house with 36%, and the next house is a bunch of unelected mates. Democracy my

It hasn't. Rules and boundaries have been constantly changed.

    Yes you are right

This whole system stinks and its about time something was done about

Any party donors should be automatically bared from being appointed to the house of lords

Back room advisors at downing street should be excluded also

We pay for this lot and it makes a mockery out of democracy

Jeremy Corbyn has stated that under him no one would be elected to the house of lords
