Calculating my salary under category A
My main salary is based on my basic wage which is the same every month plus weekends and night enhancements.
I'm applying under category A. I'm just a little unsure as my salary varies slightly each month due to how many nights or weekends I worked.
So do I add up the six months salary. Then divide by six and then multiple by twelve?
Sorry to keep asking. I want to get this right.
Thanks again.

Double check the Financial Requirement FM1.7 here:-
https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...ugust_2015.pdf
Section 5 - salaried and non-salaried
Also here:-
https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...ndix_FM_SE.pdf
Under the section 'Calculating Gross Annual Income under Appendix FM' for 13a and 13b
Strictly speaking under 13a your annual salary (equal to or above the stipulated income threshold ) is paid in 12 equal monthly payments.
Phil, based on what you've stated before your basic annual salary meets the requirement for Cat A Salaried.

So I put my gross annual salary as the figure on the form as in my basic salary not including nights and weekend enhancements?

I thought you said the nights and enhancements were paid under separate payments ?
Anyway, your basic salary meets the requirement. So Cat A with 6 months payslips and bank statements will be the route.
How you put the numbers down doesn't matter just as long as the documentation matches and you employer letter confirms your basic salary.

No my nights and weekend (for my regular job) enhancements are all on the same monthly payslip
My bank work is on a different weekly payslip.
Sorry if there was confusion..
The reason I'm confused Is because my monthly pay differs due to how many nights and weekends I work in the previous month (my enhancements are paid in arrears). So each months salary can differ.
But if I just put my basic salary that should be ok?
On the left side of my payslip It shows my basic salary, then underneath it lists the night and weekend payment. The total paid after deductions is shown bottom right of the payslip.
