Based on my personal experience I can only say that in my relatively short time living here, it certainly feels very safe.
I've wandered all over this huge city without any uneasy feelings whatsoever.
I'm not saying it's crime-free, it's not.
But the streets, jeepneys shopping and markets are all safe.
Tbh I was more surprised to see Osaka topping the list.

These survey sights are not really reliable for information, as it depends on the users. If a few hundred people signed up, they could make Bradford the safest city in the UK

The Roma vermin who pitched up on the Hyde Park 7/7 bombing memorial would be missing in action if they pulled a similar stunt in Davao
Purely hypothetical as they would never be allowed into the Philippines to begin with
