FIFA Scandal - AGAIN!!
Six FIFA officials arrested in Switzerland on $100 million corruption bribery charges. Including the vice president.
The arrest warrants are issued by the US, and they are likely to be extradited.
The FIFA election is Friday, and Blatter seems to say he is going ahead with it as he knows he has won already.Keith Driscoll - Administrator

It seem 4 have already pleaded guilty of those arrested in Miami. Plea bargains with the FBI, hopefully they finger Stiff Bladder.

14 now.
I always suspected there would be corruption and crookery in such a 'club'. Confirmed in my mind when Qatar were given the world cup venue. What an utter nonsense. Oh, but they're rich of course. Same with the Russians.
This is a SPORT. Sport is about honesty and integrity....and people setting a GOOD example for others.

While FIFA said it was nothing to do with FIFA this morning, the police raided the FIFA building at the same time. Made the guy look a right

Hopefully this is just the start as there has been corruption in the FIFA as far back as I can remember.

Just hope they get stiffer sentences in America than they would if they had been tried here.

Give the 2018 World Cup to England, you've got the stadiums and infrastructure Just a pity the team doesn't have the same high standards Tell Qatar to take a hike in 2022 and give it to the Philippines!
It said on the news earlier that FIFA had $1.5 billion money reserve. No doubted stashed away in some Swiss bank account rather than being spent on football.

These are white collar crimes in the US, very serious. They usually throw away the key. Hence those that have already pled guilty, are squealing to the FBI to get a shorter sentence. All those arrested in Switzerland are old and will not wish to die in prison, so they will also be looking to cut a deal.

That usually means dropping in it everyone else in sight. Blatter is going to find it hard to hide then.

The head of Brazil's FA has fled Switzerland and gone home. It seems Brazil has already stamped down hard on the corruption, as has Argentina, with arrests and warrants in both countries.
It also seems Nike have gotten themselves involved with reports over bribery of the sports shirts.
As more get arrested, more will talk, and so the house of cards begins to fall.Keith Driscoll - Administrator

Fife, or the"Kingdom of Fife" - as it's often referred to ( ... ... don't ask me why!) - is a Scottish county adjacent to Perth & Kinross. And, for some reason (which is again unknown to me ) denizens of the latter frequently describe their neighbouring natives of the former as "fly Fifers".
Accordingly, given its present predicament, perhaps due to there being more than an element of justification, the Federation Internationale de Football Association could aptly be termed "fly FIFA"!

In Pilipino that would be Pepper Arthur.
Now ask your partner to recite the Peter Piper rhyme.

Don't forget, a vote from Burundi has the same power as one from Germany. However, 73 was still a kick in the balls, but Blatter doesn't care. He's already been on Swizz TV slagging off the FBI. Probably not the best thing to do when they are gunning for him.
The IRS has said more arrests to come soon. They are working with 33 countries.
EUFA needs a new man in charge who has ball. Plonkertini is useless, he doesn't seem to realize the power they have. If they setup a WC with all the EU and main American clubs, then Blatters' WC would be second rate and the sponsors would walk.
Looks how successful the darts PDC became after splitting from the BDO.Keith Driscoll - Administrator
