The Holy Grail For Prostrate Cancer Discovered

After decades of underinvestment in prostrate cancer, compared to other forums such as breast, a potential lifeline has just been discovered that can dramatically increase life expectancy for those who have the advanced form.

Having worked on the genetic make up of the cancer, US and UK scientists have found defects that are the same in abut 90% cases. This means that in order to control the cancer, it is just a case of deactivating what these defects activate.

It was also found that around 8% of all men have a genetic fault which means that they are predisposed to getting prostrate cancer.

Trials are already underway using an ovarian cancer drugs which targets the faulty genes.

Although this is not yet a 'cure', it is expected to massively change the quality of life of those who are suffering, and increase life expectancy.

Good to see this cancer having a breakthrough. It seems to have been ignored in the past.
