Indonesia Offers Help In Mindanao Peace Process
INDONESIA is willing to help the Philippines' Government pursue the realisation of the Bangsamoro entity if asked.
This nation was actively involved during the 1990s in facilitating peace talks between government and the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF).
Indonesia also deployed military observers
to Mindanao between 1994 and 2002.
But ... currently it's Malaysia that acts as third~party facilitators between government and the Moro Islamic Front (MILF).
