Haven't tried Laing or Kinunot so far.

I've had Chicken Pastel but it had a pie crust on top.
    Chicken pie.

Is bopis like sisig because it looks similar? That's the dish I usually have although I have tried others on that list. Had bulalo on Dumaluan Beach but it didn't have any meat with it as shown in the picture.

Sorry, but I think it all looks awful. No offence intended!

I don't eat pig at all so my choices are limited to seafood and chicken in Pinas. Pinas is a veggie's nightmare.

Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.

Some of those look appetizing although Laing looks like raw sewage.

I think I've tried pretty much all of those. If I'm at a Filipino party, I'll usually have a try of everything!

Some of the dishes are lovely, such as Bicol Express and Liempo. Pinakbet and Dinuguan aren't so great though!

That chunk at the bottom of the Kare-Kare picture looks like a lizard's head.

Lizard? Wouldn't surprise me. Had it a number of times in Pinas. Dog was better though.

Since arriving, just over 3 months ago, we've only eaten pork a couple of times. One of those was on my birthday when we had the usual lechon.

We're both fans of seafood and tend to eat that mostly. Usually with a shell soup, salad and rice.
I like to grill on the BBQ as often as possible and besides the old favourite of chicken drumsticks there's also Tuna panga, Tilapia, Grouper, extra large prawns and Parrot fish etc.
Again with some types of soup and my fave salad and the daily rice.

We both also love dishes which are only vegetables and we're lucky to have a couple of good markets with all the usual (and not so usual) vegetables. We can get pretty much whatever we would buy in UK although generally the produce is smaller. If we want broccoli or cauliflower we'd need to go the supermarket.

We're very fortunate to be living a stones throw from Eden Nature Park where they specialise in growing vegetables with many using hydroponics.
Their outlets have some wonderful vegetable selections. The celery is a bit small but tasty and the beansprouts are really thin. Not fat and juicy like we could buy in UK

I'm very lucky foodwise in that my wife had her own restaurant in Japan and is a great cook.
Living here in Philippines is very different than visiting on a holiday when it comes to food.
Almost all our daily food is prepared and cooked at home to our own tastes and quantities.

In truth we hardly ever eat out. We do often enjoy a snack or two when we're out and about but going out for a proper lunch or dinner doesn't really happen. That's our choice.
My wife can easily prepare nearly all those dishes indicated in the OP
