    Seems Cathay have another sale on

    , Just been looking myself for May. Great times and good prices too. Cheaper if you go from Manchester - it's under £400!

    Bloody hell Steve, when I lived in the Midlands it was always cheaper from London. Now I'm living down South its cheaper up North!

    On each of the two occasions I've flown to the Phils it cost me £730 return. First time ... in September 2008, my flight happened to be from Manchester to Davao. Second time - in late November the same year - I went from Heathrow to Davao. And BOTH times I flew with Singapore Airlines - changing to its subsidiary, 'Silk Air' at Singapore Changi.


    Queer difference from the fares being advertised now - almost 61/2 years later - by some of their rivals, I notice!

    Steve, I have just put a couple of dates in from Manchester in May. The best I got was £494. You must have a lucky computer. If you got under £400, I hope you booked it.
