High Alert in Denmark
At least two people were killed and 6 injured in shootings in the Danish capital Saturday night, February 14, with one attack targeting a cultural center that was hosting a debate on Islam and free speech. The second incident, close to Copenhagen's main synagogue in the city center, saw one person shot in the head and two policemen also injured, police said in a statement early Sunday, February 15.
It was not confirmed if the two incidents, which come just weeks after a series of bloody Islamist attacks in Paris that left 17 people dead, were related.

Yes.
It does seem, at times, to be getting easier to find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Still believe the chances are very small.

It's with a heavy heart Dedworth, but more and more people are starting to agree with you. I was chatting last year with a very nice, middle aged Filipina lady who was wondering whether Mindanao will be an independent Islamic state in 25 years time. There is a minority of muslims, small but not insignificant, who think it is ok to shoot someone because they have a different opinion to them or belong to a different religion to them. The problem is not going to go away just by wishing and none of the possible answers are very pretty.
