What is the procedure for British Citizenship?
Just been checking the fees and it looks as though there are three fees to pay, Naturalisation £906, Registration £823 and ceremony fee £80, is this correct?

No Michael, that's not correct.
Naturalisation (British Citizship) currently costs a total of £906 which includes £80 per applicant to cover the citizenship ceremony fee.
Registration is a completely different process not applicable to Maritess
For all the nitty gritty see the UKVI table of fees here on page 4

Hi Michael,
Here's the link for the Application for Naturalisation as a British Citizen - Form AN
Look to page 17 for extra information on supporting documents.
The guidance can be found here in Source algorithm
Guide AN
Have a look through the documentation and if anything isn't clear just shout out. Lots of lovely people here to help out
It's all pretty straightforward. Much less of a stress than the previous applications

This one is the easy one Michael, it's so easy you think there is a catch, but there isn't any.

Busy filling in our documentation for naturalisation and it looks as though we have to go to Post Office to enrol Biometric information again, is that correct?

I noticed that from the 6th April all the fees were increased. Naturalisation is now £1,005. Sorry i can not answer the question about Biometrics but surely if they have been taken in a Post Office in the UK before it will not be required again!!!!.

Still struggling for two sponsors at the moment, may be able to find one but a professional is proving very difficult, nobody has known Maritess three years yet we are at least a year out!

I'm sure you've studied the list of acceptable professional persons Michael.
But just in case here's the link:-

Is it ok just to ask any professional person even though you have never known them? because I've asked at our Surgery and the Doctor who dealt with Maritess has moved on they only seem to stay three months. I will ask the man who owns our property, never thought of that before. Thank you so much for all the help Forum members have provided over these recent years, we couldn't have been as successful as we have without you all and I hope I'm around a lot longer yet to continue to be able to enjoy many more years with you all!

Morning all, just called the IELTS test centre to check what document numbers to use from the IELTS certificate to go on the application form for Maritess citizenship application and the test centre have just told me to check to see if the IELTS certificate can still be used as they have changed the certificate required from April 6th, is this correct?

I didn't any Biometric when I applied for my British Naturalisation through National Checking Service. I applied on 6th Feb 2015 and by 17th Feb I received an invitation for the British Citizenship ceremony.
The documents I showed were my passport, ILR card, husband's passport and marriage certificate.
As mentioned above, the fees has changed on 6th April.Life as we make it

Where did she take her IELTS? She can still use that cert. UKVI will accept that even if it's expired as long as it has a B1 equivalent mark for Speaking and Listening. The IELTS test centre doesn't know the rules of UKVI. They are only complying what's needed for the English test. I've asked them in the past about it when UKVI changed the requirement last 2012 and they told me to just retake the test. Follow the guidelines of UKVI.
In the test report form, there is a Test Report Number on the bottom right side of the page. That's probably what you need.
Edit: I've checked the AN form and it doesn't have an option for IELTS tests taken before 6 April 2015!!! They do make things hard for the applicants!-=rayna.keith=-
