Really though, I'm not sure why there's the hate for call centre operatives. It's an absolutely bloody awful job, and the people doing it you can be sure would vastly prefer to be working in say, the back office. I'll guess it's more down to people hating call centres in general and having to go through them.

Maybe people tar the call centre workers with the same brush. For me, it's the ones that pester you (PPI claim call etc) not the ones I call that me off.

I can understand this one. When the misses first came to the UK, we were at immigration at Manchester Airport. I went thru first and walked past the customs guy but didn't go thru the door to exit the area. As I was waiting for the misses who was behind me in case there was any problem, some with a radio started telling me I couldn't wait there and had to go thru the door. After a few minutes of arguing with me, he threatened to get Security. What a
