Not looked into it yet but can I pay for a return ticket say from Manila to Manchester via a UK flight specialist in Pesos? (obviously converted bank to bank) ???
That would be damned cheap considering exchange rates today!

Good question Fred, but I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that. Maybe you could phone the airline direct.. But those fares are great. It's a pity our baby is so young or I would be booking.
Just my luck!

Almost every single passenger on our return flight was coughing and about 70% were Brits. Only about 4 were Filipino the rest Chinese but it was the Brits suffering. As we got out of the taxi at home we both got whatever others were suffering from so we are quite poorly at the moment!

Sorry to hear that Michael. Best thing to do is have a hot drink and go to bed. Speedy recovery to you both.

Strangely, last month was the first time I've flown out of Birmingham. It's been either Gatwick, Heathrow or Manchester beforehand and to be honest, I wasn't that impressed.
I was impressed with Cebu Mactan airport on my first visit and I prefer it to the other main international airports in the Phils I've flown from (NAIA and Clark).

I always fly into cebu or even better davao, and give manila as wide a swerve as possible, you only get one chance to make a first impression and manila is getting worse with each passing year. You fly into somewhere like bangkok and its progressive and geared up for travellers from landing to getting out of the airport, manila doesnt have that.
Sometimes you're flush and sometimes you're bust, and when you're up, it's never as good as it seems, and when you're down, you never think you'll be up again. But life goes on.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the passion that she shows to the outside world.
