Newsweek Magazine, looking for Filipinos working on ships in Scotland
Hello
I am a British photojournalist, and contributing editor to Newsweek Magazine. I am researching (with journalist Alex Renton, who will be writing the copy) a story about migrant workers involved in the Scottish fishing industry; we've heard there are approx. 600 Filipinos working on ships off the coast of Scotland.
We would love to talk with someone / a few people, and I wondered whether anyone on this forum works / knows of people who work on these ships? You could remain anonymous if you preferred. We are especially interested in hearing about labour rights, pay and conditions.
If you'd like to look us up, my website is www.carolineirby.com ; Alex's is http://alexrenton.com
Thanks and best wishes
Caroline Irby
