Nervous traveller
Do others get a little nervous before traveling, i do, dont ask me why, i just do,
Once i am in the air i am fine its the waiting ,
The most important things to look for are the loos, once i have located them i am a little more easy,
The planning starts tonight, dont eat to much till we hit Manila, take some books to take your mind of things and try to get a window seat, the list goes on

I now find air travel to the Phils (alone) tedious and a thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience.
If only they could just knock you out for 18 hours.

It does help having Ems next to me, before she sleeps and that's straight after she has eaten.

I don't. I don't think I've been worried about me experiencing anything bad about flights or my travel journeys (because I think that if it's your time, it's your time).
What I usually think about before travelling are things that might happen in our house, i.e. burglar or house fire, and of course our guinea pigs, whether they'd be okay with my in-laws (not get sick or die) while we're away.
Even in the past when I was still in Manila, just going to work would make me worry about house fire, especially when no one's at home and just our pet dog and cats. It probably was a side effect when our whole barangay suffered a big fire when I was 13 yrs. old.-=rayna.keith=-

I must admit that I would have longer (and more relaxed) stays in the Phils if I wasn't worrying about my house here being burgled.

I still enjoy all forms of travelling.
Often I enjoy it more than reaching the destination.
Long may I continue doing that

I enjoy the flight more than the holiday always looking forward to the flight back, wish I could fly many more times than I do!

I only get nervous when I'm smuggling something.
Seriously, I've learnt to make the journey as part of the holiday and enjoy it more now.

I just can't stand queues and waiting around, but once on the plane with a couple of beers I'm good!
2014 took me to South Africa, Barcelona, Philippines, Malaysia and Dominican Republiq and I enjoyed all the flights, but coming back from DR we had awful winds and the smell was worse following extreme turbulence

I really enjoy the experience of going to the airport and flying.
It's the beginning of an adventure.

Couple of glasses of fizz in the lounge and then a couple more on the plane, you'll be fine

No matter how hard I try, I just cannot sleep on a plane. I think it,s the fear of missing my food hahaha. Oh, by the way, this year is the worst year in 15 years for fatalities - 1,200 souls in one year - so each time I fly I do get the hebe jeebies. Like Rayna says, when your number,s up it,s up!

That's right Brain , when the time is up for you there is noting you can do. By the way, I have just book AirAsia for flights going to Bohol.

I'm not scared of flying at all but I no longer enjoy flying long haul, the more I do it, the worse it seems to be! I've tried to make trips more bearable having multi-centre holidays which breaks up outbound journeys but last year's long flight back from Bali was a killer and I never sleep!
Hope you and Emma are having a fabulous time Steve
